  • This is noot fair.... She didn't followed the recipe...

  • “Percussion”

  • At this point, I might need to binge any recipe with Daniel in it 😂

  • I love what she's done with the cheesecake, but like she literally changed 70% of the recipe

  • Chef Saul and Frank are the only ones I've seen who mostly use only the ingredients provided

  • I thought I was the only person who does a cayenne addition to my cheesecake 🥰

  • "Because if this falls apart, I will cry. I will cry on the show" Honestly, what a mood.

  • Daniel won.

  • I didn't quite like the video, the point is to swap recipes, and she added so many other ingredients. A bit pointless she didn't even try.

  • The video is great but the drumstyle music in the background was way to disturbing and annoying. Keep that in mind. Maybe some calming/relaxing music would do better

  • The repulsive fold basally improve because almanac italy milk versus a animated jumper. laughable, ripe employee

  • this is my take on daniel's cheesecake X this is my take on my take _/

  • why is she trying to change the ingredients seems like she is trying to prove herself .. just use the ingredients he gave you like other cooks do ! man this show ain't the same without the Philippo guy and bald pro chef

  • It's getting really annoying to see the chef's go off script and adding too many additional ingredients...Obviously the home cook's challenge is to recreate the intricate recipes of the chefs. But the chef's job should be how to be resourceful with the ingredients given and see how they can make it a bit elevated through their knowledge and technique.

  • Did he say he’s never seen ricotta cheese?

  • Not a person. What about a mouse???

  • Me at 4am: I should probably sleep Also me: *pRO cHeF vS HOmE COoK cHEESeCakE*

  • Even do I dont like cheese cake these cheese cake look delicious !

  • Why the cheaper is more like expensive cheesecake!

  • The unkempt silica emotionally tumble because punishment univariately tip near a imported horse. towering, bent rainbow

  • Lol I love Lani sooooo soooooooo much! So much attitude and i'm living for it

  • Idk why but I have a strong dislike for those cherries

  • Good job Lani and Daniel. Look so good and delicious

  • i like lumpy cheesecake...

  • I’m just glad I’m not the only one bothered by her

  • She looks like an older Alicia keys lol

  • personally i like that taste of alien radiation

  • The Professional isn't that good.

  • It's not using swapped ingredients if they allow the professional chef to use things outside the box...

  • The comments complaining about the chefs so called “cheating’’ is annoying. Be happy they gave you extra tips. You are watching to learn how to cook and to be entertained... ain’t none of y’all going out tonight and spending $100+ on your dinner, let alone a cheesecake. The price is a common use as an attention grabber for a title. Anyone could make it for more or less money. Keep up the great content and thanks for the tips/entertainment. Great episode guys!

  • Daniel says rewet it Me: no dirty mind no dirty mind, he didn’t say that to me, am I wet ? Ok I’m not calm down

  • Cinnamon and cloves are spices that are IMO too overpowering for a cheesecake. I'm not having a cury, I'm having a dessert.

  • When Lani said I love cheesecake I immediately thought of the I love cheesecake vine lmao

  • I feel like she does not stay true to the challenge! She swapped out two of his ingredients for completely homemade versions not using his original ingredients! I love what she did, but was it true to the challenge? No!

  • I need Daniels social media

  • It would be amazing to one day see an episode of this series where the pro chef doesn't add anything at all. They are only allowed to use what is given to them in that box. If they absolutely must alter the ingredients, then please also include the prices, so it comes out to be the same value as what was given to them. Not "I bought this big professional batch of X and used 40 cents worth of it" either, but something you could get at the local chain grocer or gas station. It's just not in the spirit of the format to add fancy stuff to the ingredient list.

  • Never seen jada pinkett and brendon urie like that before

  • Us Germans make Marmelade all of the time. It’s not kitchen napalm. It actually quite easy.

  • How has he never seem Ricotta in his life? Is that rare in the US?

  • Everyone is here complaining about the changes made but the crackers were because of a dietary restriction... is she supposed to make a cheesecake she can’t even eat!? 🙄 and the cherries... it’s a garnish, not even an integral part of the recipe. You can easily just do the canned cherries if you want, but she took the time to teach us something new and cool... then there’s the comments like this... “now the $17 cheesecake costs more than the $97 cheesecake.” Here’s the breakdown for people who don’t ever go to the grocery store: Gf graham crackers $4.59 1 tsp salt $too little to take time to calculate. 1 bag frozen cherries $3.47 1 gelatin packet $.63 1 T lemon juice $.50 (fresh squeezed) 2 jars maraschino cherries $3.48 ($1.74 each) 2 1/2 C sugar $1.50 (max... it’s $2.68 for a 4 lb bag) -$4.00 can of cherry topping -$3.22 graham crackers Literally adds $6.95 guys... 🙄 Everything she did is extremely affordable and accessible. No ingredients that are difficult to find or are going to break the bank. She did a fantastic job!

  • one of the things we look forward to is the pro making something better with the canned/jarred stuff. she didn't use the canned cherries at all :( she doesn't seem to like the idea of this series like the others do

  • where is frank i miss frank

  • By the time she was finished with his $17 recipe she had about doubled the price with her "additions". Lying isnt cool dude

  • Where's lorenzo??

  • if i have to crack eggs into a different container bc it might be 'bad' does that mean i need to crack say, 3 eggs, into 3 different containers? wew

  • I Love Cheesecake. Is just great.

  • I'm trying my first cheesecake tomorrow for my gf. Wish me luck!

  • When Daniel tried to strong arm them from taking his box @0:36 😍 Can we have him shirtless and only wearing an apron like that random guy from the "50 people try..." videos you guys used to make? Just like the other guy don't explain why he's shirtless. Let it be a regular recipe video otherwise...maybe something that requires flour and LOTS of kneading. It's truly what we all deserve in these trying times.

  • We need more of Daniel. He looks more comfortable.

  • I really liked lani in this video. She gave some good general tips, as someone who wants to make more cheesecakes at home i definitely learned something

  • Can I get recipes please

  • Those first lines have to be scripted

  • I like how the chef took clear shots of the textures of the things she was making. didn't see a lot of that in the other episodes

  • Daniel and Gabrielle need to get together and do some hot cooking together! They would make the cutest couple ever!

  • Why does Daniel always act as if he never seen or heard of simple ingredients? He's level two right?

  • Lani: use a separate vessel for your eggs Me: But... That's just more dishes.

  • 0:22 Nuts

  • Unprofessional chef baking with nail polish. Such low standards Epicurious has for chefs of colour. 🤢 🤮

    • What do you mean they have low standards for chef's of color?

  • May I ask, how much was that 17$ in the end? Because Lani added a lot of things that were not planned, they weren´t some of the cheapest and I will not always find them at home... She did it in the last video with her too and it loses the whole charm of the video that a good chef is trying to promote cheap food...

  • I don't know why you guys are complaining about chefs cheating with. I think they're just showing how you can make the dish better and how you can make it from scratch instead of alternative premaids. If you want to speed up time go for it, but learning to make things better with what you have on hand is great.

  • lowkey daniel looks like he drew a bunch of biohazard symbols on his cheesecake with the marmalade.. interesting! :)

  • God I love him. My beautiful darling himbo chef.

  • to me it's so weird that people don't know what marmelade is bc it's so popular in germany and everyone has eaten it and knows what it is

  • i dont want my cheesecake in the oven

  • We've literally gone from this show having a pro chef coming up with a solution to handle common ingredients, to having a pro chef purposefully get ingredients she can't use so that she doesn't have to. I will keep complaining because I loved this show when i appeared genuine, but now you're not even trying to hide how manufactured it is. The pro chef is just gonna do whatever, regardless of whether the ingredients they got fit into their fantasy.

  • Looks so delicious, I love this channel, thanks new friend here 👍

  • if LA is here, she'll probably make a vegan cheesecake

  • I just want 1 episode that rose cooks

  • Bloom the gelatin? Tf is she talking about lol.

  • This is not ingredient swap between 2 chefs if she changes bunch of ingredients. The cookie base I get since she's gluten free but the cherry topping should have stayed. The point of this is for the pro to try and make the cheaper version of the cheesecake and make it good. By the time she adds all the substitutions it's probably at least double the intended value.

  • Roses so helpful

  • call me crazy but idk bout a gluten free pastry chef or baker

  • Chef Lani looked at that cheesecake like it was the first person to ever give satisfying head.

  • Excuse me where’s Steven ?

  • 2:01 in the video pause watching time I dont get why the video has a mixture of gourmet, natural, organic and non organic ingredients for both sides when it should of of been split between organic, gourmet and natural ingredients vs non organic and plain generic brand ingredients. Lack of this defeats the point of the video when you got that domino High fructose corn syrup and suger beet bleached suger on both sides of your coin. SMH😒

  • if you closed ur eyes, He sound like Tyler Posey 😅

  • Is that a giant cutting board or are they very tiny people in real life?

  • I miss the actual kitchens - they were so evocative.

  • I miss the home kitchens

  • Organic = charge more

  • The $17 cheesecake is more delicious who's agree with me👍👋😀🇵🇭.

  • All of these videos: Pro Chef - Im going to make a cheap meal. Let me add $20 worth of ingredients.

  • I dont like cheesecakes but this is interesting to watch

  • Not that it matters, but I thought the rule was you had to work with the ingredients you were given. She fancied up the basic recipe quite a bit. I think she loses at least 2 letter grades for all the substitutions she made. Just work with what you were given.

  • Next episode idea Pro vs Home cook key lime pie

  • I just love how Rose is so encouraging, amazing and patient when she explains how dishes are made.

  • So is this a $97 cheesecake vs another $97 cheesecake? With all the stuff she added? I wouldn't mind the pro chef adding all their own ingredients if the point of the video was "prof chefs take on amateur chef's recipe" but this just doesn't seem right

  • Can we have a new rule, ZERO additions and ZERO removals from the ingredients. I hate it when the pro chefs keep adding more and more and more and more stuff.. She might as well just keep her ingredients

  • Lani Halliday looks like Alicia Keys.

  • When you can take the recipe from this video-

  • it was very annoying the "chef" didint use the ingredients and use his own recipes.... bring back frank

  • inSANE Cheescakes, I need to bake RIGHT NOW! Both!

  • $97?? kind of click-bait-y, isn't it? Vanilla and grapeseed oil add up to almost half of the cost, then add in the spices etc.... it's maybe $97 for 5 cheesecakes. how about another title please.

  • WE WANT FRANK!!

  • Daniel can bake my cake, and I’d eat his cheese.

  • Wait a minute, am I the only one realizes that they film it in the same studio?

  • Why do the comments hate the chef changing some ingredients? Like she said it's her take. Lmao

  • i wanna eat chessecake now

  • Daniel. I click anything with him. Stop sleeping on him

  • They are so cute both and fun to watch
